A type of "new media" that currently does not exist might be created in a form wristlet or bracelet; something similar to an Apple watch however different in their own ways. This wristlet/bracelet will allow phone calls, messaging just like the Apple watch. However, there will be a camera hidden on the front. This wristlet will be slightly bigger than the Apple watch and its functions will be more enhanced and improved. It will be more convenient than using a mobile device and much lighter and smaller than a phone. The wristlet will be waterproof and the battery life will last longer than an iPhone.

ReplyDeleteWouldn't this form of "new media" be rather invasive to other people? Given the fact that there is a hidden camera on the front of the wristlet, it is similar to body cams on police. But, it's proven that these cameras often can't function as intended. Wouldn't a phone that doesn't require a physical screen, like sci-fi movies, be better?
I like your idea. I do think that the camera in the front could be a little bit invasive, but I like the fact that your idea is like a brand new phone.
ReplyDeleteI agree the camera would be slightly invasive to other but I think the idea of making easier than it already is amazing. I never wear a watch so maybe some other accessory or method may be viable
