A Twitter
discussion is different from a Blackboard discussion due to the limiting of
words on Twitter. Being that you are only able to write 280 characters on
Twitter limits what you want and need to say. Therefore, you have to think about before
typing and make it sound as simple as possible to prevent confusion. Whereas, on
Blackboard there is no word limit. You can write as much as you want and you
can elaborate and clarify your thoughts and/or comments. As for an in-class discussion, you can add on
to the previous persons’ comment or question, ask a related question, ask
questions if confused, add your comments and thoughts and you can also relate
the problem/situation to your personal experiences.
