Blog vs Wiki

In today's world, social networking is an immense part of our lives. We decide to share everything with the world, either it's pictures, to opinions/perceptions, to our personal life.

Many individuals use blogs as a way to express their feelings, experiences and perspectives in a written, images, or verbal style. Many bloggers communicate, share similar interests and inspire one another through the website. In the article, "Brooklyn blog helps lead to drug raid," it represents that blogging can be informative. Multiple neighbors replied to the person's blog post which led the police to take action. This showed that blogs can be used as a form of collaboration.

As for Wiki, it is a website that allows everyone to edit, delete, or add information. It is a collaborative platform for all users to add their knowledge to shared contents. According to the article, "Wikipedia to limit changes to articles on people," about 60 million Americans visit Wikipedia every month. Wikipedia has enhanced throughout the years by allowing everyone to edit entries though it is possible for users to insert false information.

As for a new use for Wiki, I can't think of one right now.
